MA/MS in Law Science

Law Science is a professional master's programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Daugavpils University, taught at Parādes Street. It leads to a professional master's degree in law and the qualification of lawyer. There are two full-time study options. The longer option lasts 2 study years, totals 120 ECTS credits and includes the professional qualification. The shorter option lasts 1.5 study years, totals 90 ECTS credits and does not include the professional qualification. Applicants should hold a professional bachelor's degree in law and/or a lawyer's qualification, or a professional bachelor's degree in law, or second-level professional higher education in law without a lawyer's qualification. The page links to descriptions of the study courses. Applicants should check which option matches their goals, since only the longer option leads to the lawyer qualification.
