PhD in Management Science

This three-year doctoral programme leads to a doctoral degree in economics and business and is taught in English. It is run by Turība University in cooperation with Daugavpils University, and its subfields are business management, education management and corporate management. Doctoral candidates work on analytical ability, creative and critical decision making, and the search for causes behind business outcomes in order to find new routes for developing organisations. They gain research competence, an approach to management at a more advanced level, and the capacity to build and introduce a new study programme, along with new concepts for developing a business. The qualification is aimed at careers in business, government, municipal administration or higher education in Europe. Accreditation runs until August 5, 2027.
