This programme builds artistic competence and individual creative expression alongside the knowledge needed to analyse and restore fine art and interior art works, covering heritage protection, cultural-property management, and art history, with graduates able to carry out restoration of low to medium complexity under technical, aesthetic, and ethical requirements. Learning outcomes include understanding the development of art history and artistic techniques, applying heritage-protection law and restoration ethics, analysing a cultural property through historical, art-critical, and physical or chemical research, and preparing and justifying a restoration project for a chosen type of object, including preventive protection, conservation, and documentation. Special abilities cover planning and executing restoration or analysis projects within legal and technical requirements, generating original creative ideas, and presenting a finished work's exposition and concept. Teaching combines lectures, seminars, practical studio work in painting and drawing, professional placements, and self-study, with cumulative assessment through term shows, portfolios, and oral interviews. Graduates work individually or in teams while upholding ethical commitments to colleagues and society.
