Activities of teaching and learning: The teaching style within the program is student centred and interactive, addressing both theoretical ideas as well as applied skills. In a student centered approach, students are actively engaged in the learning process and are viewed as active participants in interpreting information rather than only passive receivers of information. ISM lecturers design lectures and discussions that require students to go beyond procedural knowledge (recalling facts) and comprehension skills (comparing, contrasting, explaining facts) to critical thinking skills of synthesis (constructing, designing, developing ideas) and evaluation (defending, justifying, recommending ideas), case analysis, filmography, simulation are used in the teaching/learning processes. Methods of assessment of learning achievements: Students’ knowledge and skills are examined during the entire semester. The acquired knowledge and learning of basic subjects of the study programme are tested in writing and/or verbally 2-3 times per course. The final mark is calculated as a cumulative mark consisting of all the evaluations during the semestre plus the final written exam mark. Students are graded on the grading scale from 1 to 10, 5 is the lowest pass mark. Negative grades of interim evaluations shall be dropped from students' records. The students are allowed to re-sit the exam only once. Students knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes are tested through the final master theses, which is an individual analytic work.
