Diploma in Bioanalytical Laboratory Technology

This two-year full-time diploma teaches laboratory skills and techniques for sampling and testing across many industry sectors. It brings together molecular biology with immunology, biochemistry and analytical science, using practical modules and a laboratory-based project that gives hands-on experience. Competencies listed include performing microbiological, chemical and quality control tests, applying routine analytical techniques, carrying out biological procedures, processing and analysing human samples, preparing solutions and reagents, interpreting and reporting data, maintaining laboratory documentation and working safely.
