This master's programme suits recent computing graduates who want to extend their skills before starting work, as well as graduates of management, IT, manufacturing, engineering, science and related fields. Practitioners already in business can use it to further their professional development.
The course concentrates on skills for delivering technical solutions to business problems, including designing, specifying and building internet-enabled enterprise systems. Practical work is supported by open source enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and others such as SAP and Oracle, giving hands-on experience of ERP implementation methods, business processes and technology management.
Its aim is to build practical skills and critical awareness of integration of business and enterprise systems, seen from a service-oriented perspective.
