MSc Engineering Management

This MSc is tailored for engineering graduates who want to deepen their technical expertise while building the management skills needed to lead teams and operations. A group project module replaces a traditional thesis, giving students the chance to apply management principles to real industry-style challenges while developing leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Students gain practical experience with modelling and simulation software including WITNESS, Simul8, MATLAB, and Simulink, learning to validate models through case studies while building familiarity with management and systems theory alongside the broader social, ethical, and environmental dimensions of engineering practice. The course responds to a global shortage of professionals who combine strong technical knowledge with management capability. Offered full-time over one year or part-time over two years at the Mauritius campus.
