Overview
The master's track examines why people behave as they do at work and how that knowledge can be used to raise wellbeing and performance across organisations and their staff, set against a backdrop of fast-changing work where organisations face challenges such as attracting and retaining skilled staff, designing hybrid work arrangements, and improving collaboration between people and AI. Students examine how organisations can attract and keep talented staff, support employee wellbeing, and guard against destructive leadership, while addressing issues such as ageing workforces, creativity and innovation, and the shift toward hybrid work, and connecting academic theory to professional practice. The track covers leading theories alongside practical skills developed through a combination of specialised courses and skills training, and trains students to turn scientific findings into evidence-grounded interventions that lift both personal wellbeing and organisational performance, building professional skills in communication, coaching and organisational change, with an option to work toward an accredited coaching certificate.
