BA/BS in Archaeology

This Archaeology bachelor's examines the significance of archaeological artefacts and their bearing on the present, with research carried out into the remains of a range of cultures, in the field as much as in the classroom. Coverage spans the whole of Europe, from the Mediterranean to central and western Europe, combining study with fieldwork placements in Greece, Italy and the Netherlands; students can specialise in the periods and regions that interest them most, within a programme run jointly by VU Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam.
