MA/MS in Architecture, Cities, Landscapes: History and Heritage

This one-year master's programme, based in Amsterdam, combines architectural history with heritage studies. The history strand examines why the built environment looks and functions the way it does, while the heritage strand explores the value and meaning communities create around space in the present, including creative approaches to using the past. Together these form a multidisciplinary analytical approach applied to ongoing societal challenges such as landscape heritage and sustainability, decolonial perspectives, the sustainable reuse of abandoned sites, urban diversity, and climate change.
