Overview

Financial Econometrics is a specialisation within the Econometrics and Operations Research master's, with the Econometric Theory track built around the foundations of econometric methods as an active research field. Econometrics draws on disciplines such as business studies, finance, economics, statistics and mathematics, and is concerned with using economic theory together with statistical techniques to analyse data from economics, finance or marketing, making it a broad field of study that can be applied in many directions.
