Helsevitenskap - master

This two-year master's programme in health sciences equips graduates to develop and improve health and welfare services using research-based knowledge. It covers health at individual, group and system levels and applies humanities and social science perspectives to health and welfare problems. The programme is gathering-based with three to nine teaching days per course and requires considerable self-study. After a common introduction in the first semester, students choose between public health, social participation and e-health, or patient safety, quality improvement and resilience in health services. Students carry out an independent research project. The award is a master's degree in health sciences (helsevitenskap) of 120 credits.
