Micro-credential in Andrespråkspedagogikk (1.-10. trinn)

The further education in second-language pedagogy for grades 1 to 10 is a 30-credit part-time programme that runs over one year alongside work. It is run by the National Reading Centre at the University of Stavanger. Topics include research-based knowledge on second-language learning, curricula and rights for multilingual pupils, and teaching that supports reading and writing in a second language. Assessment of multilingual pupils is also covered. The programme is practice-oriented, with students' own teaching as the testing ground. Teaching takes place in two three-day gatherings each semester at Campus Ullandhaug.
