MA/MS in Critical Care Paramedicine

Qatar's first program of its kind, this two-year master's degree builds advanced clinical and decision-making skills for paramedics moving into critical-care transport and out-of-hospital emergency roles. Teaching leans heavily on simulation and state-of-the-art labs, giving students repeated practice at the high-pressure judgment calls critical-care paramedics make in the field. The curriculum pairs hands-on practice settings with the underlying science of emergency medicine, so graduates come away equipped to manage complex patients independently and, over time, to take on leadership roles that help shape how the critical-care paramedic profession develops in Qatar and beyond. As a new specialism locally, the degree also positions early graduates to help define what advanced paramedic practice looks like in the country, rather than simply following standards already set elsewhere.
