Run jointly by the College of Business and the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, this two-year executive master's targets working healthcare professionals who are moving into senior leadership. The curriculum combines healthcare and business management, with a strong emphasis on data analytics, evidence-informed policy, and leading through organisational change in Qatar's health sector.
Classes are scheduled around working life, delivered through a mix of in-person sessions, online learning and blended formats, mostly in the evenings or on weekends. Real-world case studies and an integrated capstone project let participants apply what they learn directly to healthcare management problems they are already facing on the job, rather than working through theory disconnected from their day-to-day leadership responsibilities, and the Ottawa partnership brings an outside perspective on health systems beyond Qatar into the classroom.
