Executive Master of Business Administration

The Executive MBA at SMU is built for senior business leaders. Its curriculum was developed with input from over 100 business leaders in Asia, and teaching draws on faculty with experience in both Eastern and Western markets. The stated aim is to equip graduates to take advantage of fast-changing markets in Asia and the resources available there. Teaching happens in week-long blocks distributed over a single year, a format meant to fit the schedules of busy executives; the programme is listed at 15 months, with flexibility to finish in one year. Admission requires a bachelor's degree and an SMU Admissions Test, GMAT or GRE score, along with at least 10 years in professional roles. Applicants lacking a bachelor's degree may still be admitted individually if their career record is notable. Applications are accepted between September and May each year.
