The Master of Arts in Ministry gives students a broad understanding of Scripture, Christian doctrine and the work of the church, with particular attention to how these are practised. It suits people who want to think critically about the issues facing churches today.
The programme balances academic study with hands-on experience in preaching, teaching and pastoral work, so that classroom learning is tested in real ministry settings.
Delivery is mainly on campus in Singapore, and a large share of the courses can also be taken online without set class times. Overseas students may take their first 10 courses online. Students without a theological degree complete 60 credits across 20 courses, taking two years full-time or up to six years part-time. Students with a theological degree complete 30 credits across 10 courses, taking one year full-time or up to three years part-time.
