The bi-disciplinary Master's in sciences lets students who completed a bachelor in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology or Earth and environmental sciences continue in a different discipline. It works at the interface of two scientific fields and prepares students for research or for teaching science, where two teachable subjects at lower secondary and at least one at upper secondary level are common outcomes.
The programme lasts four semesters and totals 120 ECTS credits: 90 credits of compulsory courses in the two chosen disciplines and 30 credits of research work and thesis at the interface of both fields. Depending on the major-minor combination, up to 30 credits of co-requisites may be required. Exchange periods of up to 30 credits, or research or internships outside the faculty, are possible. Teaching is in French.
