The joint HES-SO and UNIGE Master's in territorial development offers advanced training in spatial planning, urbanism and landscape, in both northern and southern contexts. Strongly professional, it keeps a close link with practice through project workshops, case studies and internships. Students learn to produce territorial diagnoses, design and plan territories and coordinate urban development, while developing a reflexive approach that anticipates contemporary problems.
The programme lasts four semesters and totals 120 ECTS credits: 78 credits of compulsory teaching per orientation, 12 credits of elective courses, and a 30-credit master's thesis. The UNIGE orientations are regional development, territorial development of the South, and project urbanism. Some courses are taught in English.
