— it helps other students.
The course welcomes both students and working professionals who aim for careers in automotive or transport design, or who wish to pursue conceptual projects. It builds two-dimensional and three-dimensional skills together with research methods that support future-focused design practice.
Clay modelling is used to explore vehicle form and proportion, and projects respond to contemporary challenges by combining creativity with research into global trends. Students work with peers from other postgraduate courses in the school on simulated or real industry briefs, strengthening project management and teamwork abilities.
Graduates leave prepared to produce design proposals for vehicle interiors and exteriors and to take on roles across automotive and transport design. The emphasis on collaboration also helps them adapt to fast-moving studio environments.
