PGCert in Real Estate

This graduate certificate prepares students for work in property development and related fields. The Department of Urban Planning runs it inside the architecture and planning college, and it is available on campus or in a blended arrangement that mixes in-person and remote study. The credential totals 15 credit hours. Nine hours come from a required core, and the remaining six are electives chosen by the student. It responds to expected growth in construction and renovation, along with a need to renew downtowns, and it points toward careers in real estate and property development, urban planning, and local economic work. Students benefit from five nationally ranked programs across the university, spanning urban design, health science, business administration and family and consumer sciences. Some certificate credits may transfer into a graduate degree in regional planning or business administration.
