BA/BS in Construction Management

The Construction major leads to the BSC degree, delivered by the civil engineering and construction department. ACCE accreditation applies to the program, and the university belongs to the Associated Schools of Construction as a charter member. The mission points graduates toward national and global awareness of the industry, the leadership abilities society needs, and the technical background to pursue many careers, graduate study included. Stated objectives cover leadership in the field, professional achievement built on ethics, along with certification and ongoing education, and a global outlook. Graduates should appreciate teamwork, communication, integrity and service as they enter the field. The mission and objectives apply to every student in the major. Students also learn to estimate costs, build schedules, write safety plans and apply surveying methods.
