AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

Central Georgia Technical College offers study in criminal justice at the associate degree level through its programs of study. The program area currently lists an A.S. in Criminal Justice, a Criminal Justice Technology associate degree, a diploma and several certificates. Several certificates are open to dual enrollment students, giving high schoolers an early start. Topics include crime scene fundamentals and an introduction to the criminal justice system. As a technical college, Central Georgia Technical College builds its offerings around workplace skills, so credentials in this area are meant to connect classroom learning with employment in the field. Students who start with a shorter credential may be able to continue toward a longer one in the same area. Prospective students should review the admission conditions published for the area, and the college publishes its tuition and fees on a separate page for all programs.
