AA/AS in Computer Programming

Central Georgia Technical College offers study in computer programming at the associate degree level through its programs of study. The program area currently lists a Computer Programming associate degree and a diploma. The associate degree sits in the college's Business Computer Technologies area and is aimed at people who want to write software for a living. A shorter diploma path is offered alongside it. As a technical college, Central Georgia Technical College builds its offerings around workplace skills, so credentials in this area are meant to connect classroom learning with employment in the field. Students who start with a shorter credential may be able to continue toward a longer one in the same area. Prospective students should review the admission conditions published for the area, and the college publishes its tuition and fees on a separate page for all programs.
