AA/AS in Engineering-Related Technologies/Technicians

This degree is offered with the college's Workforce Development Center through the Center for Innovative Technologies. Completing it earns an Associate of Technical Studies. It is designed for people with significant technical experience, such as tradespeople and military veterans. Up to 27 credit hours may be granted for earlier schooling, training or job experience, which is nearly half the degree. Students meet with an advisor to learn how much credit they will receive and to choose the remaining courses, including electives from engineering or information technology fields. Cincinnati State lists this program under the code ATSP.ATS. The semester-by-semester curriculum is published with lecture and lab hours for each course, and prospective students can contact the program chair or an advisor before applying through the college.
