This program offers Cuyamaca College students a route into allied health programs at four-year institutions. Required science courses teach scientific inquiry, the fundamentals of natural science and the laws and theories behind the physical and life sciences. Coursework includes human anatomy and human physiology. Recommended general education classes give students the broad knowledge that serves them in any allied health field. The degree prepares students to transfer or to pursue advanced study in an allied health major.
