This Master of Arts in Education is an elevation degree for teachers who have already finished a Dominican teaching endorsement. Endorsement credits count toward the master's, so the remaining work takes between one and three semesters depending on the endorsement held. All courses are delivered online and chosen from School of Education electives. Teachers can strengthen classroom instruction and prepare for leadership roles in administration or specialty instruction areas. The Illinois State Board of Education has approved the program. Graduate and certificate education programs admit only U.S. citizens and permanent residents, so international applicants are not eligible.
