Cert in Criminal Justice and Corrections

The criminal justice program offers a sequence of courses preparing students for professions in the justice system. Coursework develops academic, occupational and professional knowledge, pairing criminal justice theory with applied practice. Graduates can pursue openings in corrections, security, investigations and police administration. Working practitioners may use the program to improve their career potential, while people new to the field gain the preparation needed for entry-level roles in these areas. Georgia Northwestern Technical College publishes a course-by-course pathway for each credential, so enrolled students can see which classes come first and plan their semesters in a sensible order. The college lists this program among its offerings at the campuses it serves in northwest Georgia. Prospective students can request information, arrange a campus visit or submit an application through the college website, and financial aid staff can explain how to pay for the coursework.
