Program details

Overview

La Roche's Criminal Justice and Criminology major leads toward policing, the court system, corrections and private security work. It examines the causes of crime, how offenders are treated, and how safety systems are managed. Study aims to build three things: understanding of law, science and behavior; abilities in analysis, technology and communication; and an ethical, multicultural professional outlook. Students also build abilities as criminal investigators and in cyber-related work. An accelerated program for criminal justice professionals and a pre-law minor are listed alongside the major.
