Cert in Business/Commerce, General

This certificate at Lehigh Carbon Community College introduces students to the principles of business management and qualifies them for entry-level supervisory roles. It is a short credential for people who want a first step into the field. Students study business organization, accounting, written and spoken business communication, management, marketing, and human resource management. These subjects give a practical overview of how organizations run. Those credits count toward the associate of applied science in business management, so the certificate can become part of a longer path. The page lays out a ladder from certificate to associate degree to bachelor's study, and a business professor coordinates the program. Students interested in this field can contact the coordinator at the Schnecksville campus.
