MA/MS in Accounting and Related Services

This Master of Accountancy is delivered online for working professionals who studied something other than accounting as undergraduates. It gives a grounding in accountancy and in the role the field plays inside organizations, and it prepares graduates to sit for the CPA exam in Illinois and in most other states. Courses are asynchronous and run in brief terms. Students attend part time and typically finish in roughly two years. The College of Business, which holds AACSB accreditation, offers the degree. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in any subject other than accounting along with a minimum undergraduate GPA, though a strong graduate GPA can substitute. International applicants submit TOEFL or IELTS results. Students who already have an accounting degree are directed to the Master of Accounting Science instead.
