AA/AS in Economics

The Economics program at Mesa College explores how people, firms and governments decide how to use limited resources. Students learn to read data, weigh trade-offs and judge how policy choices affect communities. Courses introduce economic systems from around the world and encourage flexible thinking when behavior departs from textbook theory. That habit of adapting to surprises is presented as useful for working relationships as well as analysis.
