AA/AS in Accounting and Related Services

Accounting at Mesa College builds financial skills for students who want to work in accounting or manage money with confidence. Courses explain financial accounting and show how it supports the health and stability of companies, nonprofits and other organizations. Students who hope to qualify as certified public accountants can use the curriculum as a starting point. The material also helps with personal budgeting and long-term financial planning. The associate degree prepares graduates for employment as valued members of a finance team. The program page also lists requirements, course descriptions, career information, upcoming events, faculty contacts and an estimated cost section, and visitors can ask the college for more information before deciding whether the program fits their goals and career plans in the local community, whatever their starting point.
