MA/MS in Theological and Ministerial Studies

The Master of Arts in Theology continues the Society of Mary's work of encouraging careful thought about Catholic belief in a way open to ecumenism and interreligious dialogue. Students read Scripture, theological texts and Church documents carefully and examine historical and philosophical influences on interpretation and religious practice. They also consider how to apply theological research in creative, practical ways. The degree is 36 credit hours across 12 courses and is offered in person and online. Courses are taught by faculty who emphasise applied practice alongside theory, and the degree is designed to advance careers or prepare students for further study. Applicants can request information or apply through the university website, and the program office can explain the formats, schedules and requirements that apply.
