AA/AS in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences, General

The Family and Consumer Sciences associate of science is delivered fully online through Vincennes University. It covers a broad field that spans everyday family and community well-being. Students study in a flexible format with support from experienced faculty and the university's academic and social services. The program page does not list its individual courses. The program page lists where the courses are taught, so applicants should confirm the location and format before they apply. Graduates may find roles teaching adults and young people through cooperative extension, pursue certification with the national professional association, or specialize in nutrition, interiors, fashion, child development or managing family resources. Business, government and human service agencies also hire in this area. Vincennes University is institutionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and prospective students can reach the admissions office at [email protected] or 812-888-4313 for questions about enrolling.
