BA/BS in Anthropology

The Bachelor of Arts in anthropology introduces students to the discipline's major subfields through a major of thirty or more credit hours. Required courses cover biological anthropology, cultural anthropology and archaeology, and every major also completes a methods and theory course. Students then choose upper-level work in biological and cultural anthropology and add electives that match their own interests in a subfield. The degree combines these requirements with the university general education program and the college competency areas, and open electives bring the total to the graduation minimum.
