Nurses who already hold a master's degree can use this entirely online certificate to move from bedside expertise toward teaching. It points graduates toward faculty positions, ongoing education for practicing nurses, or consulting work in clinical settings. The certificate carries twelve credit hours and is arranged to suit the calendar of someone who is employed as a registered nurse. Among the classes are one on how adults develop as learners in healthcare and another on instructional methods.
