Overview
Dyson Institute is a specialist higher education provider on the Dyson campus at Tetbury Hill, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, formally named the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, which opened its doors in September 2017 after an initiative backed by the James Dyson Foundation.
It combines academic study with paid work on live engineering projects for students working toward engineering degrees, gaining degree-awarding powers following a 2020 assessment by the Quality Assurance Agency. The Institute later added MEng and MSc programmes, continuing an effort to address a shortage of trained engineers in the UK.
