Liverpool Hope University brand identity

Liverpool Hope University is a public university in Liverpool, England, whose roots trace to three colleges: St Katharine's (1844), Notre Dame College (1856) and Christ's College (1964).

Their merger created the only institution in Europe where Catholic and Anglican colleges united into a single ecumenical Christian foundation, a partnership shaped by Liverpool's Anglican and Catholic church leaders in the 1980s. The Privy Council granted the university title in July 2005 and awarded research degree awarding powers in 2009.

Hope teaches across two campuses: the suburban Hope Park, its main site, and the city-centre Creative Campus. The university emphasises research-informed teaching, bringing research excellence and high-quality teaching together.

Its ecumenical character continues through termly Foundation Services and graduation ceremonies held alternately in Liverpool's Anglican and Catholic cathedrals.
