Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Part-Time)

Studied part-time, this associate degree trains technicians across the broad field of mechanical engineering, an area that spans everything from power generation and energy conservation to the design and development of machines. It also touches on the management side of factories that produce goods, machinery, or services, along with the handling and processing of raw materials. Because the field is so wide-ranging, the programme avoids narrowing in on a single specialism and instead builds general technical competence that applies across several related areas of mechanical work. Alongside direct preparation for technician roles, the course carries enough academic depth to support students who later want to pursue further study in mechanical engineering. The part-time format allows students to build this qualification while continuing to work or manage other responsibilities.
