Overview
The Master of Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science and AI is a 16-month, course-based graduate program at Algoma University, offered at the Brampton and Sault Ste. Marie campuses. It is designed for holders of a four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and combines technical coursework in data analysis, machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, and natural language processing with a mandatory two-course Computing Project sequence for applied, hands-on experience. Elective options allow further study in cloud computing, computer vision, and advanced networking, and the curriculum incorporates ethical considerations in artificial intelligence alongside the technical training.
