Trades - Apprenticeship in General Carpenter (Trade 403A) - Apprenticeship

This Ontario College Certificate program fulfills the in-school classroom requirement for registered General Carpenter (Trade 403A) apprentices, delivered over 24 weeks at a facility with strong ties to the Ottawa construction industry. It prepares apprentices to work as skilled carpenters through classroom and hands-on instruction in general construction carpentry techniques. Admission requires applicants to be currently employed in the trade and formally registered as apprentices with Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, holding a valid Offer of Classroom Training that includes a Ministry Client ID and approved Class Number, as well as membership in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario. Enrolment is arranged through Skilled Trades Ontario rather than a standard college application. Graduates are not eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
