Program details
Overview
Human Resources at Bishop's University is a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) offered as a Major, Minor, or Honours by the Williams School of Business. The B.B.A. provides a broad foundation in business studies, and Human Resources students can select among seven concentrations and six minors to build complementary knowledge alongside their core coursework. The concentration structure allows students to combine Human Resources coursework with complementary study in other business areas while completing the core B.B.A. curriculum. The Williams School of Business also offers a Co-operative Education Program, alternating academic terms with full-time paid work terms, and an Honours program for students pursuing further study. The program admits students each Fall and Winter term and is open to applicants from high school, CEGEP, another university, or outside Canada.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is assessed by applicant category. CEGEP students who have completed or are completing a DEC may apply regardless of the DEC's field of study, with no specific prerequisite courses required; the estimated minimum admission average is a 24 global R-Score (25 R-Score for School of Education programs). Canadian high school applicants from outside Quebec must complete five Grade 12 level university-preparatory courses, including Grade 12 level English, three Approved courses, and one further Approved or Option course; required and approved courses vary by province. International, IB, transfer, mature-student, and other applicant categories have their own published requirements. All applicants must submit a recent transcript, and CEGEP applicants must also provide their Quebec permanent code. Meeting the posted minimum does not guarantee admission, as applications are evaluated competitively when demand exceeds available spaces.
