This program leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, completed in a three-year (90-credit-hour) or four-year (120-credit-hour) format, delivered in hybrid mode at the Winnipeg campus with Fall and Winter intake terms. Rather than majoring in a single discipline, students combine coursework from two subject areas of their choosing, building on a core component that exposes them to a breadth of knowledge across arts, religion, the social sciences, business, and social work, along with experiential-learning opportunities. The program develops critical-thinking skills that cross disciplinary boundaries, scholarly research ability, and the capacity to analyze historical and contemporary events from Christian and multi-disciplinary perspectives. Students transferring in must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to continue after 60 credit hours of study. It suits students whose interests span more than one field and who want a customized course of study rather than a single-discipline major, preparing them for further study or careers that draw on combined subject expertise.
