Certificate in Music and Worship

The Certificate in Music and Worship is a 28 credit-hour, direct-entry program for students who want to develop their musical and worship-leading skills within a Christian environment at Briercrest College. The curriculum comprises 9 credit hours of College Core courses in biblical and theological studies, 10 credit hours of Music Core coursework, and 9 credit hours of free electives. Students gain hands-on musical training through ensembles and performances, with elective options that include Recording Arts, Acting, Musical Theatre Workshop, Songwriting and Media for Ministry. Classes are small and discussion-based, integrating music training with the college's biblical studies foundation. The certificate offers a one-year pathway into music and worship ministry roles, or a foundation for students continuing into further music study.
