Psychology at Brock University is offered in the Faculty of Social Sciences as either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science, studying human behaviour through child and adult development, forensics, clinical work, personality, group dynamics and neuropsychology. Through lectures, seminars, labs and mentoring, students build expertise in human behaviour alongside skills in critical thinking, teamwork, communication, problem solving, research design and data analysis, with career-preparation courses and opportunities such as co-op work terms, the Psych Society, teaching assistantships, and internships in research laboratories. The program offers a BA or BSc in Psychology and a Minor in Psychology, and runs four years full-time with co-op, experiential learning, international opportunities, a Brock-college option, and Law Plus. Graduates pursue careers in human resources, sales and marketing, research, counselling, social work, teaching, and forensics.
