The Master of Applied Disability Studies (MADS) at Brock University is offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences and is the only program of its kind in Ontario. Students specialize in either Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with a course sequence verified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board toward the Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential, or Leadership, Diversity, Community, and Culture (LDCC), which provides graduate-level training for career advancement in the disability sector. The course-based program is designed for current and future professionals and runs over five terms (20 months) of full-time study, with courses offered on weekdays and weekends; a three-year part-time option is available for ABA students only. Courses are delivered at multiple locations across Ontario. The program begins in the September intake and is geared toward professionals seeking to advance their careers in disability services or applied behaviour analysis.
