Overview
The Marketing Diploma is a two-year program that is designed to provide you with a solid business education coupled with knowledge, practical skills and abilities to succeed in a range of marketing roles. You are prepared to develop marketing and public relations plans, use current communication technologies, and function in a professional manner while working in entrepreneurial enterprises, businesses, not for profits, government and community tourism environments as early career marketing and sales management, public relations, advertising, retail management and customer service professionals. You can further your education at Camosun College in the Bachelor of Business Administration - Marketing Major, or transfer credit to other post-secondary institutions available.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Camosun requires C+ in English 12, C in English 12, or an approved Camosun Alternative to enter the Business Administration Diploma's Marketing option. The page separates a course-readiness condition from the admission bar itself: many first-year business courses require a mathematics prerequisite (C in Pre-Calculus 11, Foundations of Mathematics 11, MATH 073, MATH 077, or MATH 137, or C+ in MATH 072, MATH 075, or MATH 135), and students may still enter without it, provided they complete one of those math courses, or pass Camosun's math assessment, by their first semester of study.
