Overview
The Office Administrative Professional Certificate provides you with real-world skills and intensive business software training to get started in a career as an administrative professional. You will gain an in-depth exposure, as an end-user, of the technologies required for today’s modern office. You may also complete this program through the internship designation to get familiarized with the field before getting a job. As a graduate, you are prepared for employment in entry-level administrative to executive assistant positions as well as self-employment opportunities, or you may continue your education as this program ladders directly into additional credentials within the legal administration field.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Office Administrative Professional Certificate requires one of: a C+ in English 12, or a C in English 12 Camosun Alternative, with proof of that grade or higher required at application. The programme's own admissions page lists no further academic prerequisite, minimum grade point average, portfolio, interview or work-experience condition, and it publishes no dedicated English-language test score (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo or CAEL); the English 12-equivalent course above is the stated language requirement. Applicants who do not yet hold the required English course can pursue an assessment or an upgrading course through Camosun before applying.

Winter 2027 (January start): early deadline 15 September 2026, final deadline 7 January 2027. Summer 2027 (May start): early deadline 15 January 2027, final deadline 29 April 2027. Applying by the early date puts your file in front of Admissions in time for priority course registration; nothing is accepted after the final date.
