Overview
The Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration - HR Management and Leadership prepares you for professional practice through the application of human resources principles and ethics to all elements of management. Through applied learning opportunities, graduates are well equipped to integrate and strategically apply knowledge of human resource principles to a variety of work environments. This program incorporates the majority of key competencies required to pursue a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Your career opportunities may include, but would not be limited to, managing in government or private industry, business consulting, and human resources advising or management.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to this post-degree diploma requires a bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, together with one of two accepted English routes: English 12 at a C+, or English 12 (Camosun Alternative) at a C. Applicants must submit proof of meeting each listed requirement, and where a letter grade is specified they need that grade or higher; those missing a requirement can complete an assessment or an upgrading course through Camosun first, and applicants carrying prior post-secondary coursework should submit official transcripts to be assessed for transfer credit. The programme page does not itself publish separate international English-language test minimums, so international applicants are directed to confirm current scores with an Admissions Advisor. Graduates with a minimum programme GPA of 70% (B-) can use a Camosun-CPHR accreditation agreement to waive the CPHR National Knowledge Exam when pursuing the Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation.

Application Deadline:DOMESTIC APPLICANTS follow Camosun's college-wide open-enrolment schedule, not a date set by this programme. Winter 2027 (January start): early deadline 15 September 2026, final deadline 7 January 2027. Summer 2027 (May start): early deadline 15 January 2027, final deadline 29 April 2027. Fall 2027 (September start): applications open 1 October 2026, early deadline 15 May 2027, final deadline 26 August 2027. Applying by the early date puts your file in front of Admissions in time for priority course registration; nothing is accepted after the final date. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS have separate deadlines: 1 June for a September (Fall) start, 1 October for January (Winter) and 1 February for May (Summer). Those dates hold only while seats remain, so a popular intake can close sooner; a later application may still be looked at if seats are open and there is time to obtain a study permit.
